Day 1 : Arrival to Queen Alia Int’l Airport, you’ll be met by our representative who will assist with all airport formalities, after collecting your luggage you'll be directed to your driver  who will drive you to your lodge in Azraq for check in, time to relax and overnight.

 

Day 2 :  Early Breakfast at the lodge or takeaway, today you'll be checking the migration sites in the eastern desert, including Azraq Nature reserve, Wadi Al Butum, the Black Basalt Desert, those lands make part of the ancient Syrian desert many water birds and summer breeders are expected to be scouted specially in morning, by evening you’ll be  reaching the Dead Sea & Overnight.

 

Day 3 : Today you start as Early as possible to explore the Dead Sea & Wadi al Mujib Area which is part of the Jordan Valley area; the whole valley area down to As Safi near the southern tip of the Dead Sea is irrigated and provides extensive unexplored habitat, Black Storks and Levant Sparrowhawks are some of the main to be seen,  continue heading further south to the red sea shores of Aqaba & Overnight at the hotel.   

 

Day 4: After Breakfast you’ll be heading to the port of Aqaba and the Aqaba Bird Observatory you’re in migrant heaven! many of Jordan’s rarest sightings come from this site being the last gateway before entering Africa and the first upon its return! Birds like the Little Green Bee-eater and the Arabian Babbler can be scouted in Aqaba.

Later you’ll be heading to vast desert of Wadi Rum for overnight.

 

Day 5: Breakfast at the camp, a day to explore the hidden gems of the desert which has a great ornithological significance in Western Palearctic terms being the only reliable breeding site for Verreaux’s Eagle although spotting one is less than certain; the exploration will be by 4x4 jeeps and a little bit of hiking and climbing. Later you’ll be transferred to Petra for overnight.  

 

Day 6: Today you’ll be exploring the Nabatean city of Petra, with its curved red rose mountains many migrating birds can be spotted among the mountains, along with exploring one of the greatest 7 wonders of the world. Late afternoon you’ll be heading to Dana Nature reserve for overnight.  

 

Day 7: After an early Breakfast, start wandering Dana biosphere , This site offers some of the most spectacular views in the country, at an altitude of 1500m, the habitat is very different, surrounding are made up of oak and juniper and holds species such as Tristram’s Serin, Cretzschmar’s Bunting and Sinai Rosefinch. The rocky wadis contain Hume’s, Eagle and Scops Owl. The campsite at Dana is also an excellent place to watch raptor migration. 

Later you'll be transferred to Amman for Overnight. 

 

Day 8: After breakfast and according to your flight details you’ll be transferred to the Airport for departure.
